The single has been so successful that the track has been deleted and no longer supplied to retailers, while the track was still in the Top 20, so that attention could be held next single Ready or not. Operated by the success of the Fugees track, was remixed version by Flack in 1996 and topped the list Hot Dance Club Play. Fugees version of the song is on the 3rd Thurs Karaoke Revolution In 2008, he was ranked 25 VH1 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop. The Fugees are a critically acclaimed New Jersey hip hop group who shot to fame in the mid-1990s, whose repertoire included elements of soul and Caribbean music, especially reggae. Members of the group are rapper singer producer Wyclef Jean, rapper singer Lauryn Hill, and rapper Pras Michel. Its name is derived from the term refugee , Jean and Michel are of Haitian descent, while Hill is African American. The group recorded two albums, including one, The Score (1996) was a multi-platinum and Grammy success before disbanding in 1997.
