Crocketts Theme

“Crockett’s Theme ” is an instrumental song written for the impact NBC series Algonquin Vice. The initial version of the theme first appeared in the episode Calderone’s Return: Part 1 – The Hit List which aired on Oct 19, 1984. Originally imperturbable by Jan Hammer, this song is an example of the instrumental New Wave hits popular during the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. Jan Hammer (IPA: [jan ham?]) (born 17 Apr 1948, in Prague, then Czechoslovakia, today part of the Czech Republic) is a composer, player and keyboardist. His compositions impact won him several Grammy awards. He is probably best known for activity keyboards with the Mahavishnu Orchestra in the primeval 70s, as well as his  “Miami Vice Theme ” and  “Crockett’s Theme “, from the popular 1980s US broadcasting program, Algonquin Vice. Hammer has collaborated with whatever of the era’s most important musicians such as Jeff Beck, Al Di Meola, Mick.
